Follow-up Care after Cancer Treatment
After cancer treatment ends, the follow-up care Dr Klose provides is fully in line with the latest requirements and recommendations of the German Gynaecology Association and will be carried out in close cooperation with the treatment clinic. In the first three years after the initial cancer treatment, follow-up appointments will be scheduled every 3 months. Bi-annual visits should be planned in the fourth and fifth year after treatment, thereafter on a yearly basis.
Our practice participates in the Germany-wide standardized Disease Management Programme (DMP) regarding follow-up care for women with breast cancer. To this end, Dr Klose has committed herself to attending regular continuing medical education workshops to ensure she is aware of the most up to date knowledge on follow-up care after cancer treatment.
